Tasks Immediately Change to Tomorrow, and Timezone Complaints

Hello,

Just started using TD today, and I have to problems that I can't seem to avail. One is that every time I open the application, it complains about changing the timezone to one that it incorrect. The other more pressing one is that for every task that I create for today, just a few seconds later, I watch it change to tomorrow. I'll set a task for today (27th), and it will nearly immediately change to Tomorrow (28th), no matter how I'm changing the dates.

Hi Nick,

How many apps of ours are you running? Please make sure that Todoist.com's settings, your mobile devices, desktop settings and anywhere else is all on the same timezone. If it is asking to change timezone, there is a reason for this and it should be accepted.

As for the date issue, this happens when this issue with timezone occurs.

Thanks for the reply. I use TD as a Chrome extension and on my Android mobile device. They are all set for the same exact time; yet they all still insist on asking, including the actual website.

You say the same time, I would just like to confirm you mean timezone.

That being said, are you in the timezone its asking to change too? Do you use any VPNs or such?

Hello Brendon,

Chrome, Todoist.com, and the Android application all ask if I would like to change my timezone to GMT -5:00, though right now I'm in Milwaukee, WI, which is GMT -6:00.

I don't use any VPNs, proxies, or anything that would spoof/mask/hide my IP or anything that would be used to identify my timezone.

And yes, I mean timezone, sorry about the discrepancy. I just checked and confirmed that the setting for every application is set to "(GMT-0600) US/Mountain" as a timezone. Also, all the settings concerning time, such as time and date formats are the same (untouched) across the board, if that assists in anything.

Sorry to follow up so quickly, but I've attempted clearing all my cache earlier, both on my computer, and on my Android device. I thought that it may clear up, but it did not.

Nick,

I have never seen an issue such as this where it keeps asking you. Please try the following, sign out of the Android app, head to Android settings and clear data for the app. In Chrome head to settings, Show Advanced Settings, Content Settings, All Cookies & Site Data, Search for Todoist, remove all of them.

Once that is done sign back in one by one. You said you cleared cache but I need to make sure you also remove offline data.
