Dates Completely out of Whack

SS

I'm running on multiple platforms. I do most of my updating on both 1) the todoist.com website and 2) android app and they're fine. But when I look at either 1) windows desktop version or 2) Chrome extension they show very old dates and current tasks are showing weeks "past due." They do have recently added tasks so I know it's not just a complete synching failure. I fear that one day the bad dates are going to synch over the good ones. What's going on?

Hello,

Please tell me, do you know how to reliably reproduce this issue? If so, please describe step-by-step how can we trigger it.

In general, you may notice some sync issues between the Chrome web-app and Chrome extension if you'll else them both simultaneously as technically, they're the same browser sharing the same session. However, given that it happens also on other platforms, please let us know if you see any pattern to it.

Also, please try to manually delete the Windows app's cache. You can do this by quitting the app (right-click on the TD icon in the tray and choose "Quit" from there) and then deleting the "Cache" folder located in:

C:/Users/{username}/AppData/Local/Todoist/Windows

Best regards,
David

Dumping the cache did the trick, for both the Windows desktop and the Chrome extension. Thanks.
