Recurring Time Problem

Hello team support,

I do have problem with recurring tasks. I do have screenshot and i attached it for staff reference.

As to describe the prob, the recurring time for my tasks change or defer from it's original date/time.

Example,

For tasks A, i set it to ev day at 7 am, means everyday at 7am. But once i tick it done, the time shown difference as it suppose to be, it said tomorrow at 11am.

I'm using Google Chrome as my main browser, while in my Windows Phone, i'm using unofficial Todoist apps to sync my task regularly.

PS : This is out of the question topic but do Todoist team have a plan to release an official app in Windows Phone for Windows Phone user community?

Hi Roz,

I have tried to reproduce this problem and I can not. It will always move to the proper next day. That being said. We have had situations where these third-party apps, many times being on Windows Phone cause many odd issues.

I'd suggest logging out of that app, even removing it and then see if the issue still occurs, try to create a new task after doing so to see.

We don't know when we will build one, but it's possible.

Ok thanks for replied. I try to contact the developer app and see whether the prob come from app itself or others.

What makes todoist better than other to do apps in the market is the integration across all platform. It could be much better if todoist could spend their time for creating official.apps for windows phone. I can see todoist could explore and capture some potential user market for Windows Phone. There is demand and it seemed todoist team unable to give some date or timeline. I want to be one of ur premium user but lack of app for Windows.Phone bcos i can't be all the time in front of laptop make me reluctant to do so. It also not fair to other premium user from Windows Phone user who's paid but not get the same treating to get official app compared to other platform such as iOS and Android.

Roz,

Thanks for the suggestion. I can't say if it will happen, but we are aware there is a large group of people wanting it, and we do want to provide Todoist for everyone.

Let me know if the Dev says anything, though I do suggest testing it as I said above to see if it changes.

Here from what i got feedback from dev :

Hi,

I am aware of this. Sadly there is no quick fix, because this is a bug in the Todoist public API, not in TaskCrunch. I’ve made Todoist aware of the bug, but they did not fix it and provided no timeframe for doing so.

It's stated clear that Todoist did aware about the bug and didn't fix it.

What i suggesting to the team support, it's either :

a) Make an effort to create official app for Windows Phone

Or

b) Fix the bug so the dev can make proper third party app. The main reason why dev created third party app at the first place because there is no official app.

Both choices all come from Todoist. I've seen a lot of requests in Support Section asking the same thing. Todoist created apps in almost all types of platform. I don't see any valid reason why Todoist can't create the same app for Windows Phone.

Hello Roz,

Please tell me, did the dev mentioned when he contacted us about it or the link to the thread through which he contacted us? There are many third-party apps for many platforms. At least 3 for Windows phone, a few for iOS and as far as we're aware they don't have problems with recurring due dates, though we'd like to investigate it so if the dev provided any more details, please let me know.
