windows, ipad, web app, all show different due dates for the same tasks

KG

Windows app, ipad app and web app all show different due dates for the same tasks. Looks like some tasks dropped out of sync on different platforms.

Hello Kirill,

Please tell me - what's the exact due date as you've entered it into the date field? And what are all the different dates the task now has on each device?

Please try to change the text of the task on any device and see if it syncs correctly. Also, if you can reproduce this issue with any other task, please let us know how - this would greatly help us identify and fix this issue.

Best regards,
David

I have several tasks where I have removed due dates at all using ipad app, but windows app shows them overdue:

25 days agoMon 26 May 2014
21 days agoFri 30 May 2014
9 days agoWed 11 Jun 2014
8 days agoThu 12 Jun 2014
5 days agoSun 15 Jun 2014

Changing some text at specific task helped.. the task in window app turned to no-due-date as it should be.. All other "problem" tasks remain the same.

I replicated the issue (created overdue task in windows app and removed due date in ipad app) and now there is no problem.

I recently extended premium subscription and was using just the ipad app for 2 days after that. Today I launched windows app and it kind of updated itself to premium mode..

Kirill,

I've been able to partially reproduce this, please confirm if that's exactly what happened to you:
- I add a new task through the Windows app, I set it to 16 06 2014 to make it overdue
- I remove its due date through the iOS app - nothing happens in the Windows app
- I use "Reload" from the right-click menu of the Windows app's tray icon - it syncs correctly.

This would suggest that the automatic push-sync doesn't work in this case. I'll pass it to the developers.

Best regards,
David

I tried to reproduce it as well and now repeated reproduction one more time.. windows app refreshes correctly now without manual Reload. Feels like it is something to do with Premium renewal / app switching from free to paid plan.

Tasks, where I didnĀ“t edit text - remain "buggy"..

Hello Kirill,

Please try to close the Todoist app completely (right-click on the TD icon in the tray -> Quit) go to C:/Users/{user_name}/AppData/Local/Todoist/Windows and delete the "Cache" folder in there.

Now, launch the Todoist app again and let me know if the issue persists.

David
