SMS reminders not working

HI there,

I noticed today when I was supposed to receive an SMS reminder that this is no longer working for me. When I first paid for premium it was working fine when I tested it, but I really haven't used SMS reminders much since then.

Now when I need to use that feature, it doesn't work anymore. I haven't changed anything and I can't figure out why it was working before and now it's not. Any ideas?

Hello Nasko,

Please go to Settings -> Reminders, use "Edit" to edit your phone number and:
- make sure it's typed in this format: +12345789 incl. the + sign, your country code, no spaces, no dashes,
- set your provider/location to "International",
- select one of the Canadian hosts from the "Number to send from" menu.

If none of these hosts will work, please send your full phone number to david@doist.io I'll send 3 test messages to it through our system and if neither arrives, I'll contact our SMS provider about it.

Hi David,

Thanks for the quick reply. I have actually tried all of these things including changing my phone number format but no luck. I am sending my phone number to the email you gave me now. :-)

Sorry for the delays, we're currently investigating this issue (with our SMS provider) and hope to have a solution soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.
