Syncing issues: tasks appear on different date on devices?

Somehow syncing seems to change the date of tasks? When I add a task and I check on iphone/ipad it is added a day later than the date and a time of 0:59 is added, even though I didn't schedule any specific time for the task.

This has started happening after your update which was supposed to fix syncing issues, but now tasks appear on different dates then the date assigned and I don't understand why Todoist add a specific time of 0:59 to it when now time was assigned when the task was created??

Can you do something about this?

oh and by the way, just now again a task appears on my iphone which already was completed yesterday and doesn't appear on the web anymore and also doesn't appear on ipad even though iphone says it synced just now? there appear to still be syncing issues?

HI Micha,

Please check your mobile device settings, Todoist.com's settings and anywhere else you use Todoist, to make sure all are on the same timezone.

If that is the case, what is the exact syntax used for this task? What did you enter in the date box?

Hi Brendon,,

I just wanted to report another incidence of todoist on iphone not syncing
correctly.

Even though a few weeks ago I deleted the app and reinstalled as per your
instructions, today I have another instance where a to-do item that was
marked as completed on the web (todoist.com) is still there amongst
yesterday's items on the iphone app. I have closed and re-opened the app,
but that doesn't help.

I guess the update didn't solve all the the sync issues. I hope you guys
can look into it.

You say its been weeks, do you know the exact steps, situation that occurred when this new issue started? Anything at all could help.
