Chrome Extension - Add URL As Task

I'm already loving what I'm seeing in Todoist, and I've just created my account 30 minutes ago. I expect to be upgrading to premium in the next couple days at most.

One feature that is missing right now, though, is in the Chrome Extension (not the app). The Extension shows next to the address bar, and gives me quick access to all my tasks, and a quick way to add new ones. What would be very nice to have in there is a button that says "Add the current URL as a task".

I tend to use Google+ a lot, and I even find myself organizing significant events in it. Being able to open a post, click a button to add that post as a task, and then move on would help out tremendously. I would expect similar for other people and sites.

Hi Michael,

Adding the current URL as a task is already possible and that's primarily the purpose of the extension. :-)

As luck would have it, we just recently published our "A Comprehensive Guide to Using Todoist" blogpost. In there, it's explained how you can do that. Also attached is a GIF that shows you how to add URL as tasks.

Thank you! And getting me an answer at nearly 3am? For a free account even? More impressed. Upgrading this week. I like this. A lot.

I don't have a good UI answer for what I'm about to say, so I can't give any ideas. Finding this was actually confusing. I had to remember to open a specific project, and then add the website as a task. Now that I've done it, I'm not likely to forget it, but it was confusing up front. I wish I could suggest a way to prevent that confusion for others in future.
