Change Admin

I am trying to change the administrator from myself (my email) to our company info account (info@xxxxx.com). Logged in as myself, I send an invitation to info@xxxx.com. Upon receiving the invitation, I click on the accept button to which I got an error message saying I could not accept and invitation from myself. Help.

Hi Ted,

While clicking on the invitation are you still signed into your account? Try signing out of that, then clicking on that invitation, and signing into the company account.

Regards,
Brendon.

Hello Fabio,

To change the Admin of your Todoist for Business team, please click on the gar icon at the top, go to Todoist Business Admin -> Users, click on the gear icon next to the user you want to make admin and select "Make admin" from the drop-down menu.

You can then also remove the admin status from your account.

Best regards,
David

Thank you! Got it. Our team will buy the business version to use.

One other quick question: when sending emails to projects, is it possible to add as a comment just the reply to the email, not everything? the comments are full of disclaimers, old replys, etc etc.... not good looking if we try to print all tasks from a project with comments.

Thanks!

Fabio,

We have tried to make this possible in the past, but so far it never reliably worked - mails were lost, comments were lost, too much information got stripped so given the choice of risking seeing too much data and risking losing data, we've decided to leave the entire email body.

Though we may change it in the future if we find a 100% reliable way to remove the irrelevant data. However it's difficult as every email client handles quotations differently.

Best regards,
David

Ok - thank you very much for the answer. It would be an interesting development if possible.

Kind regards!
