Hi Paul,

Just to confirm, you can't open the app (not even once)? Or does it open one time and the next time you click the icon it does not open anymore?

Please make sure you're using the latest version of our app here: http://todoist.com/windows . Also try re-installing it and see if that makes a difference.

If does indeed launch at least one time, please note that closing the Todoist app (by pressing the red X button) does not close it but minimizes it in the System Tray in the lower right corner of your desktop. This is the default behaviour but can you change this.

Regards,

Clyde

That is correct it does not open and did not open even once. I tried deleting and reinstalling to no avail. The version was whatever was on your site to download this Afternoon.
What should I try?
Paul

Hi Paul,

During the installation process, did you get any warning or error prompts? Was this working for you before? What version of Windows do you have? Also, any anti-virus software? If you have, please try disabling it and see if that helps.

Regards,

Clyde

I did get the attached screen shot. Since then nothing. Disabling my virus scan did not change anything.

Hello Paul,

If you could please link to the full resolution version of this image, that would be much appreciated.

However, if I did see this correctly, it looks like it mentions error code 146. If that's true, then this code usually shows up in case of having a corrupt system registry, but again - please send us a bigger image as it's difficult to see what's in the error message in this attachment ;-)

Best regards,
David
