Add Task box partially hidden

VS

Hi,

When I click to Add Task or when I do Ctrl+q, the box opens up on the right side of my outlook screen, but partially hidden under the To-do bar, on its immediate left. Removing the To-Do bar does not fix the problem, instead the Add Task box is partially hidden by the email list and the reading pane.

It's not the end of the world, as the important information still shows, but it's a bit annoying. Do you know how to fix it?

Thank you,
Valérie

Hi Valérie,

Can you maybe attach as screenshot so we can pass this along to our developers? Also, are you using a high resolution display laptop or monitor?

Regards,

Clyde

Hi,

Here is the screenshot requested. Also, I use a dell monitor and my resolution is 1600 x 900. I don't know if that helps.

Thank you!
Valerie

Hello Valerie,

Thank you for your report. This issue only seems to occur if you use the "Add to Todoist" button at a time when the Todoist plugin pane is minimized. If it's already rolled out, then that should not happen.

Please let us know if that's the case. If so - we're looking into it.

Best regards,
David

Hi -

I'm having a similar problem with the Edit Task box. It's sometimes partially hidden behind whatever's to the left. It's dependent on exactly where I right-click on the task. If the edit box appears to the right of where I click, all is well. Sometimes when the box appears over to the left it fits. But if I right-click in an area in the middle of the taskm the box goes off to the left and doesn't fit.

Now that I know how to avoid it, it's not a problem for me, but I offer the info because it seems it might be related to the OP's problem.

Also, the top line (with the menu button) is squished together, so that the add button appears on top of the description of the view (overdue ...).

Thanks,
Nathan

I should add that if I make the Todoist pane wider, both problems go away. But I have to make it wider than I want it, roughly 450 pixels, which leaves lots of white space.

Nathan,

Yes, many of these issues are based on making the panel smaller, we hope in future updates, and after we resolve many issues, we can improve how this works and hopefully not cause as many issues.

Brendon.
