Portrait photo displays in landscape mode

I have taken a picture in portrait mode and when opening it from the notes it is displayed in landscape mode. The whole picture is rotated 90 degrees.

Hi Pascal,

Which method did you upload through? Computer, Dropbox or Drive? Is this the only image that did this?

Brendon.

Hi Brandon,

I uploaded it using Android by taking a picture.

Best regards,

Pascal.

Hi Pascal,

Can you reproduce this reliably? That is every time you take a portrait picture, does the app rotate it 90 degrees. Please let me know so I can report this back to our Android devs. Thanks in advance!

Clyde

Hi Clyde.

yes I can reproduce it. I tested it with two different camera apps and they give the same result.

Hello Pascal,

Could you please attach the picture here? It doesn't have to be the same one, in fact, you could photograph a white sheet of paper, as long as this is a picture with which you can reproduce this issue and it gets rotated upon uploading.

Best regards,
David

Pascal,

Thank you for the picture, I will pass this to our developers. It seems to happen only if the picture is taken as uploading it as a regular "file upload" displays it correctly.

Best regards,
David
