I can't seem to get my todoist to send emails or push notifications - have added my number and it shows my iPhone on my devices but when i try and test these neither produces a result :(
Hi Anna,We have 3 types of notification that you can choose from: SMS, email, and push notifications. The only notification that needs your number is the SMS notification. Can you please tell me the exact due date and time that you have? How about the reminder options that you have selected? Is it set to send the reminder on the exact time or couple of minutes before?Best Regards,Clyde
I am using the settings page, and it says where you add your mobile number - send a test SMS and where you have the push notifications - send a test - which i have done and nothing is coming through to my mobile - at present I haven't sent up a reminder on tasks as its not working on test...
Hi Anna,I was able to reproduce the issue with the test push notification reminder. I have reported this to our developer and I'll update you back once I have some news from them.As for the SMS text, it's actually working fine. Please try the following steps to see if it address the issue:1. Make sure the number is formatted like this: +123456798 incl. a + sign, your country code, no dashes or spaces. (it looks like you have already)2. Select "international" from the location/provider list (regardless of your location or provider).3. Select one of the Canadian numbers from the "Number to send from" drop-down menu.After you've followed the step above, do the test again and let me know if you cant still get the SMS reminders.Best Regards,Clyde
Great - changing to canada makes SMS work - be ideal if we can get push working too - many thanks for you help - I look forward to hearing about push notifications
