Is it possible to change the completion date of a task?

J

When I mark a task complete it automatically moves to the completed tasks section (which I can acces after accessing 'Karma productivity trend'). However it automatically determines the day you mark a task as completed as the completion day of the task.

Sometimes I check off yesterday's tasks the next morning and unfortunately they appear as though they would have been completed that day. Is there a way to change the completion date manually?

Hello Jeff,

Unfortunately, it's not possible to manually change the completion date of a task, but we may consider adding such option in the future and you're welcome to vote for it in our Votebox: https://todoist.com/Vote/show/6394/

Best regards,
David

I also came across this issue. Would be helpful to include this option.

Best regards, Jos

Please add this option, even if it's just via the API. I want to import my task history from another system into Todoist, and that's currently not possible to do accurately because I can't set completion dates.
