Having problems for som time now to synchronize
Me to. There is no conection. Both ipad and iphone using different nets. The whole day dotoist don't work.
SAME HERE!!!! It's so frustrating!
I've reset my network and turned off wi-fi on my phone to attempt sync. I've also tried it on my macbook, iphone, and ipad. Nothing. This started last night and apprently continues today. I'm assuming this is a system issue that is currently being worked on?

We are still having server problems, though most are resolved, we hope it won't be much longer before things are back to 100%.

My iphone and ipad are out of sync. I tried deleting iPad app, but it still loaded the old iPad list, which is different to the iPhone. Has always worked fine before.
Try logging out and logging back in on both the iPhone and iPad. Also, make sure that you're signing using the same account. I know it's basic but that happens more often than you think. ;-)
Thanks. When I log in I get this error message: "expected status code in (200-299) got 403". Any ideas why.
Are you using an old version of our app? Is there any chance you can update to the latest version?
Yes I am, as I do not want to upgrade my iPhone 4 IOS, as most advice warns against it. Phones tend to run slower. I don't seem to be able to load later versions of todist.
Sadly, the latest version of Todoist requires iOS 7. The old app used an a really old version of the API that has now been deprecated.
Clyde, so does this mean the iOS apps no longer sync if they are not iOS 7?
If so, while I understand the issue, I'd just say it sucks to *remove* functionality that was working fine for what I'm going to guess were a substantial number of users with older iPhones and iPads who have not (for good reasons) moved to iOS 7. Oh well.
Last note—on a customer support tip—if synching no longer works on non iOS 7 devices, that might have been worth a friendly email communication to the customer base, no? Customer relations bungles and manditory upgrade paths make me a lot less likely to ever spend money on a premium version in the future.
I have sent an email to every user that was generating queries through the oldest soon-to-be deprecated versions of our API twice - once around a month before we've shut it down, then about a week before.
I'm unsure why this list seemed to be incomplete, but we'll look into it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks David, and I guess to be fair who knows, maybe I got one and it got spam-filtered or something. I guess I'm stuck with the web version on my mobile devices now.
For several weeks now my iOS, iPad, and OS apps have not been syncing. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. I've tried logging out and logging back in. The iPhone app seems to be the worst... which is the place I need it most. I really like your app (when it's working correctly!) Please fix this so that I don't have to stop my premium account. Thank you.
We're sorry for the inconvenience, we've rewritten a lot of the sync-related code and will release a new update for the iOS app (very soon, hopefully this week and if not then next week, there's also Apple's approval that can slow down the process).
In the meantime, please tell me - is our app allowed to use the "App Background Refresh" option on your phone and iPad?
