Web version vs IOS vs Outlook Plugin

A

I use Todoist on my iPad / iPhone / Outlook via the Connector. I have just opened todoist in Chrome and logged in using the same details.

They seem to be using different data sets.

Ios and outlook sync seamlessly, but the chrome version has none of my items / projects etc.

Any ideas?
Thanks
Andrew

Hi Andrew,

Try syncing and see if the tasks in web will be synced to your iOS device and Outlook plug-in. Based on experience, the data in the web tends to be the correct one as it's pulled out from the server when you load the page.

It could be that the changes made in your tasks were not synced properly. That's a good place to start.

Best Regards,

Clyde

Hi Andrew,

Can you please re-attach the file again? It's not working.

Make sure that you're using the same account on all devices and in the web. Most of the time, the discrepancies are caused by having 2 different account logged-in.

Please also go to Advanced Settings -> Content Settings -> All cookies and site data, search for "todoist" there (there's a search box in the top-right) and delete all Todoist-based entries that you'll see.

Best Regards,

Clyde

Hi Clyde

All Sorted.... if you go into settings from the outlook plugin, it show the
credentials used in chrome. I had a gmail based based test account which i
forgot about. So, all sorted, but thats going to cause other users
confusion too
