Hello Pavel,

Unfortunately, "next week" is not a valid due date and when I try to enter it into the date field, it returns an "invalid date" error. Are you referring to the scheduling option for already added tasks? If so - I can't reproduce it.

Today is Monday, I right-click on a task without a date, choose "Next week" and it's scheduled to the next Monday (next week), not Tuesday.

Please let me know:
- Does the task you're referring to already have a due date and if so - what date is it?
- Do you have the correct time zones set on your devices and within Todoist's settings?
- Can you reproduce this issue in a different browser and if so - what browsers did you try?

Best regards,
David

Ок, once again: Today is Sunday (Jun 01) (not Monday, than Monday it is working as I expected) , I right-click on a task without a date, choose "Next week" and it's scheduled to the next Monday, not Tuesday. But the next week`s beginning is tomorrow (Jun 02). The task is scheduling to a week after next (Jun 09).

> Does the task you're referring to already have a due date and if so - what date is it?

Works the same in both cases.

> Do you have the correct time zones set on your devices and within Todoist's settings?

Time zone is ok. And settings of Todoist: next week beginning with Monday

> Can you reproduce this issue in a different browser and if so - what browsers did you try?

It works the same way in Opera and Chrome, and in Andriod version.

Hello Pavel,

Thank you for clarifying, I've been able to reproduce this and will pass it to our developers.

Pavel,

This is actually not a bug, we've added an option to configure this in the Settings. If you go to the main settings page, you can see "Next week" as a drop-down menu and set on what day in the next week you'd like these tasks to be postponed.

David

Hello David,

But in my case selected day not belongs to next week. It belongs to week AFTER next - 8 days. Next weeks is starting tomorrow (on Monday). And task is assigned to Monday, but not tomorrow monday but incorrectly to the week after next.

small sheme:

Sonday (Jul 01) <- today, I am selecting "Next Week" from menu.
Monday (Jul 02) <- tomorrow, start of next week, i thing task should be assigned to here.
..
..
Monday (Jul 09) <- start of week AFTER next, task is assigned to here, i think it is incorrect

Settings of my account
>>> week start: Monday
>>> next week (option you were talking about): Monday

Hi Pavel,

The "Next Week" functionality does not work by adding +8 days to the due date. It works by first selecting a day (Monday-Sunday) and all tasks regardless of it's due date will be set to that day the next week. As David mentioned, this is working as intended.

Regards,

Clyde

It is working as intended if you are using Sonday as a first day of the week. Is this case next week is starting on next Sonday.

That is correct.

But in my case, then first day of week is Monday and today is Sonday todoist works incorrectly.

Pavel,

We've passed it to our developers and we'll look into it again.
