Data has been lost

When I tried to go into my projects, none of the data under each of them would load and I just kept getting the timer icon. I have logged out of the app but when I have logged back in, all of my data has disappeared! Pls help, as I need to get this back ASAP

Hi Clair,

When you log back in, do you have a good connection to the internet? Can you access Todoist in the web? Does it still have all the projects and tasks?

Please try re-installing the app again? Chances are something just went wrong the app and will probably be fixed once it's re-installed.

If that doesn't help, please let me know.

Hi, it looks like I can still still access my data on my iPad. I have logged into the web account and none of my data is visible. I have also reinstalled the app on my iPhone and the data is still not visible. I am concerned that the data will be lost off my iPad version of the app and it is not backed up.

I'll bring this up with our developers to see what's happening. Unfortunately, they'll not be in until hours from now so I may not be able to get back to you sooner than I want to.

Hi Clair,

Can you please confirm that in your iPhone and the web, you logged using your @googlemail.com account instead of @gmail.com account. I just want to make sure that we're not using a new account as that could explain why there's no project or tasks.

Hi, that seems to have resolved the problem. I have always used the gmail suffix, so I didn't know that googlemail.com would lead to a different location. Thanks for your help.
