Repeating date appears incorrect

T

I have set a task date to "every friday", I think it's worked until now but today is Friday 23rd May and it shows the task as being due tomorrow (24th May).

As per the attached screenshot, the due date of 24 May doesn't seem correct with the date set to "every friday". Can anyone tell me if this is a bug or something wrong with the date used.

Thanks,
Tim

Hi Tim,

Please check Todoist.com's settings, your desktop's settings and anywhere else you use Todoist to make sure they are all on the same Timezone setting.

Brendon.

Thanks Brendon. I've checked that out, both the desktop settings and the app settings on my phone are both set to the correct time zone (Pacific/Auckland).

Tim,

Let me know which devices you are using, which browser/OS and if signing out, and clearing cache resolves the issue.

Brendon.

I'm using the latest Chrome on Windows 8.1, and logging out / clearing cache didn't make any difference. Also using the mobile app on a Moto G (Kitkat).

I also note that other reminders using the same format (e.g. every saturday) are correct, so it's not an issue across the account.

Hi Tim,

This could have caused by a bug that was fixed last Friday where recurring dates land on the wrong day. Unfortunately, we have to re-schedule them manually (re-enter dates) to set it to the correct dates again. :-( Sorry for the inconvenience.

Let me know if that doesn't help.

Regards,

Clyde

OK thank you Clyde, I'll fix the entry and hopefully it won't recur.
