Filters not syncing to iOS

Hi,

I created filters as mentioned in this link: http://todoist.com/Vote/show/7818/ to group tasks by context. Though this is all set & functions well on the web & mac platforms, but when I check my iphone/ipad I see no tasks.

I'm currently on the one month premium trial offered for 30 day period. I'm currently checking if todoist fits my workflow and I converting to a premium customer are high. I just want o iron out a few these issues..

Sai

Hello Sai,

Can you please give me the exact filter that you're using so I can confirm the behaviour myself?

Clyde

Hi Clyde,

I've attached the screenshots, as to how they appear in my windows/web/mac
apps and how its blank on my iPhone (it's the same on iPad too).

The filter I used was to exclude all those that have dates (scheduled) and
for a cluster of labels (contexts):

(no due date & @computer), (no due date & @mac), (no due date & @online),
(no due date & @flipkart), (no due date & @bigbasket), (no due date &
@kindle)

But, when I checked on my iPhone as to why it's not reflecting properly, I
see the filter changed to:

(no due date & @computer), & (no due date & @mac), & (no due date &
@online), & (no due date & @flipkart), & (no due date & @bigbasket), & (no
due date & @kindle)

I tried editing the filter on iPhone, but of no avail.

Appreciate your help.

Hi Sai,

I tried replicating the issue but it's working fine for me. I did not use as many query as you did so can you please try filtering in your iPhone with just one query Example. "(no due date & @computer)". Let me know if you get the correct number of tasks or not.

Clyde

Hi Sai,

Please also try using this query "no date & (@computer, @mac, @online, @flipkart, @bigbasket, @kindle)" instead of what you have right now and let me know how it works out.

Clyde

Hi Clyde,

I'm able to get the data properly if I use only one label. But, if I try using multiple labels, it reflects only on the web/mac platforms and not on iPhone/iPad. Please do try with multiple labels and let me know if it works for you on iPhone/iPad.

As for the second option. It is taking 'no date' only for @computer and not for any of the rest of labels.

Hi Sai,

The second option I gave you should have worked but it looks like we run into a software issue regarding filter queries in the iOS app. I have reported this already to our iOS developers and we'll look into it. As soon as it's fixed, I'll notify you in this thread. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Regards,

Clyde

Thanks Clyde. The second option does not work on the web also. Appreciate taking your time to help.
