Chrome app losing state when closed

If you're in the middle of writing a task in the Chrome app, then click away from it to revisit the webpage to check something, then you've lost that task when clicking back on the Todoist icon.

I've just hit this where I wrote quite a large comment against a note, then needed to refer back to the webpage I was on to check something for the note, and this caused me to lose all I had written.

Hello Dan,

I can't reproduce this issue. Please clarify, what exactly do you mean by "click away from it to revisit the webpage to check something, then you've lost that task when clicking back on the Todoist icon."?

I've tried to open a task note using our Chrome app (not the extension), started typing something, opened a new tab in Chrome, went to a website, then clicked on the TD icon in my task bar to get back to the Chrome app and the text I've typed was still there. If I click away from the note field, I see a warning message asking me if I'm sure I want to discard the text?

Please describe step-by-step what are you doing exactly and I'll try to reproduce this issue.

Best regards,
David

Hi David,

Sorry, I meant the Chrome extension. By 'clicking away' I just meant clicking back on the Chrome main window (closing the Todoist extension).

Dan,

Thank you for clarifying, I can reproduce this in the extension now and have passed it to our developers.

Best regards,
David
