Refund Premium account Todoist

RM

I had high expectations of Todoist especially the clean layout is nice. As I am working a lot with sub-taks it seems this is a flaw in Todoist as adding multiple sub-tasks takes to many steps to complete. I need to first enter a task then choose edit and in the next screen change the level. Not a logical way to do this.

Maybe I missed something but if there is no quick way to do this I would like to request a refund for my premium account.

Hello Roel,

You don't have to edit a task to make it a sub-task. Go to the project you want to add it to, click on "+ Add task" at the bottom and already then you can indent it with Ctrl+RightArrow.

Furthermore, once you hit Enter to save it, the next input field is already on the same indent level. You can also right-click on an existing task and choose "Add task below" and again - indent it as you're adding it right-away.

Please let me know if that works better for you and if not, we'll process the refund.

Best regards,
David

Roel,

My explanation above applied to the web, if you're only referring to the iOS app, then you can also choose the indent level while adding the task by tapping on "more" to see more options incl. indenting.

David

I do most of the work on my iOS devices.....no Ctrl+RightArrow ;-)

Please process my refund.

Thanks

Thanks for the refund. It is still something which could be improved in my view. The way I work is that I make a project and start adding several subtask and I would like to see that after adding the first, the second is recognized as another subtask, etc.
