Outlook Calendar Feed Task Time

This error occurs for me just the same in MacOS Calendar, Windows Outlook, and iOS: I have a recurring task at 3 PM every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. This week, everything looks fine on the calendar. Next week and thereafter, this task occurs at 3 AM instead of 3 PM.

I have many recurring tasks, some daily, weekly, or other schedule. Some remain consistent over time while others flip to AM instead of PM in subsequent weeks.

Hi Guy,

So this appears in the calender feed, does it also appear this way in Todoist? As in, if you test this and complete a recurring task, does it change to AM from PM?

Brendon.

In Todoist, everything looks fine. Completing a task in Todoist does not seem to change future tasks. All versions of Todoist (Mac, Windows, iPhone, iPad) look correct with their times and all versions of the calendar feed have the same time errors.

Guy,

Can you check Todoist.com settings, your desktop settings and any other devices to make sure they are all on the same time zone. Now this is a long shot as if this was the case your Todoist takes would be off as well.

Did you change anything at all recently, system wise etc that could have effected your calendar apps? Is it only our feed that does this?

Thanks,
Brendon.

All the time zones are the same. It is only my Todoist calendar feed that's off. My other five calendars and calendar feeds are unaffected. I can't really say that I've changed anything, because I've only started using Todoist two days ago.

Guy,

This seems a bit hard to reproduce. If you remove the feed, re-grab the URL and add it again, does it still happen?

Regards,
Brendon.

Yes, it still happens. I would think that if it has happened to me with multiple tasks in my first day of using Todoist, it would have happened to a whole lot of people. I'm happy to help troubleshoot, but I can't imagine what's different about my system that would cause it. It certainly seems isolated to the way the calendar feed is being interpreted. Since I just started using Todoist, it certainly isn't an urgent issue.

Guy,

I am going to pass this along to see if we can find the problem, but to confirm. This is only occurring with recurring tasks?

So current tasks show OK, but the next occurrence is wrong.

Regards,
Brendon.

Correct. Only recurring tasks and not all of them.

Just some follow-up information: if I set a recurring task for Mon-Wed-Fri at 3 PM, for example, the calendar feed will show the next 2-3 occurrences at 3 PM but all the ones thereafter will appear at 3 AM. However, this is a *rolling* phenomenon. Several days from now, the first 2-3 occurrences that were showing up at 3 AM will now be correctly showing up at 3 PM and the ones after them will be at 3 AM.

Hello Guy,

We've made some changes on our end, please re-test this and let us know if you're still experiencing this issue.

Best regards,
David

Hi - yes, I'm still experiencing the issue even after refreshing Todoist and my calendars.
