different order in filter view

When I look to my tasks in a certain filter, in desktop app I see them ordered by due date and priority. Ok.

But, when I look to the same filter in my iPhone o iPad, tasks are shown in different order (no order at all). Also, the order is different in iPhone and iPad.

So, I have tree views (desktop, iPhone and iPad), and they all are different!

I think that all the filter views should look exactly the same in all platforms to improve usability.

Don't you think? :-/

More information on that.

I looked at the filter config.

The filters like this: @label & 30 days does'nt look the same in different platforms.

The filters like thins: 30 days look exactly in all platforms.

It should be very easy to fix... ;-)

Hi Santi,

What filter/s are you using? I'd like to replicate this myself and document it if in case we end up reporting it to our developers.

Clyde

My filter is a label mixed with a time frame.

One example:

@label & 30 days

Do you see what I mean?

I can't believe that such a simple issue needs so much time to be fixed.

You should use Todoist for planning your upgrades...

Santi,

We're using our apps every day, but some issues are indeed very time consuming. The filtering function is completely different on the web and on mobile as we even use different platform-specific programming languages. Nonetheless, this is on our developers' to-do lists and as soon as we hear any updates from them, we;ll let you know. Sorry for the inconvenience.

David

I have exactly the same issue with the following custom filter:

:all: & overdue, :all: & 7 days

There is currently no easy way for me to see all tasks for the next 7 days assigned to me and others.

Hi Santi,

We have fixed some critical issues but it seems like the problem still persist for you. Just to confirm, you're using the latest version of our iOS app, correct? I'll update our developers that the issue is still affecting you and other users. Really sorry for the inconvenience.

I still have exactly the same issue as Santi by the sounds of things.

Using v9.0.3 on the app, premium subscription and using the custom filter specified above.

Looking at my task list right now I can see three separate sections for tomorrow and a further three for Tuesday. These appear randomly dispersed with all other days.

Happy to provide screenshots offline.

This does render the iPhone app virtually unusable for me - I need to see all tasks due over the coming week and who they are assigned to.

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for the screenshot. Looking at it though, I only see the screenshots for iOS. The problem in this thread is that the same filter is displayed differently in different platforms (eg. desktop, tablet, smartphone). Is that what you're experiencing as well? If it is, can you give me a screenshot of the other platform where the ordering is different?

Also, try using this filter instead to see if this helps:

(:all: & overdue) | (:all: & 7 days)

Clyde

Thanks Clyde,

I've emailed a screenshot of how things look in the OSX desktop version.

I also tried to tweak to the filter but it didn't seem to make a difference on desktop or iOS.

Many thanks,
Kevin
