One of the reasons I fell in love with ToDoist is the natural language date entry :-)

Buy milk, wed, enter. So simple.

For years I was a loyal customer of toodledo and another android app that syncs with toodledo, was initially put off by the todoist way dates are entered, but now I find it easy to remember and do and being able to speak them into keyboard and have it work right first time is awesome. In my view todoist has its faults, but I find it to be the best i've found in years.

Hello Dennis,

You can always the date picker to set dates. Overtime, you'll hopefully get used to the natural language date entry. Here's a list of entries that you can use: https://todoist.com/Help/DatesTimes.

Clyde

I for one HATE the "natural" date & time picker and would much prefer to select it from a list... For some reason the way I like to enter dates and times is not "natural" according to Todoist... they are never recognized and I alwys need to look up what format I need tot enter them :-(

Hi Jan, since I wrote my last comment, I have abandoned todoist and went back to toodledo.

Hello Jan,

We're sorry to hear that :-( We would greatly appreciate if you could post at least one example of a date you would like to use so we can consider adding support for it in future updates.

Regards,
David
