How to share sub projects?

D

I made a project A....and then I added 3 sub-projects (A.1, A.2, A.3).

I share A with my friend. He doesn't see A.1, A.2, A.3

So I had to shared also A.1...and then share A.2...and finally A.3

He doesn't see the tree like I see it... but A and A.x are on the same level.

Where I make mistake?

Hi Daniele,

At this time this worked correctly. You need to share each sub project if you want that, but since it's their own list, it will show up as a normal project, they will have to edit it to make it subbed like your list.

Brendon.

So it's working properly?
IMHO is not a good feature...sound more like a bug.

Votebox seems closed. The ability to share sub projects so they appear in the same hierarchy would be a massive plus. Currently every time i share a sub project my colleague has to reorder them in his setup

The vote box is closed. I want/expect that any project I share should automatically share all sub projects in the same tree. It seems like a bug that it's this way. I don't expect it will change, as I expect it's tied to some particular data model choice which effectively makes it impossible to change. Still, I want it that that way. It's actually the primary reason that I won't be using todoist.

Another view: I'd like for this functionality to stay as is, since my way of organizing my projects may not be the same as my collaborators' - and with multiple projects and different sets of teams, it could get ugly - and not as usable - really fast.
