Backup option to Download doesn't do anything

The Mac app looks like the web app and you can create a new backup. But the "download" link for a backup doesn't seem to have any effect.

Hello Rick,

There are some limitations to handling links or file uploads in the Mac app (due to the fact that it works as a browser extension). Please let us know if this issue persists only in the Mac app or also directly in the browser.

Best regards,
David

Hi, works fine in the browser. Would be nice if instead of a link that didn't work, it could have a link to a browser to make the download work, or just a line telling us to do it from the browser.

Rick,

We're using the correct standard link formatting across all platforms and all connect to the same site with the same content. As soon as Safari for Mac starts to handle these links correctly, it will open the browser window with a prompt asking you where to save the file. In the meantime, we're look if there's a possibility to force this for Safari.

Best regards,
David
