Everyday task

KK

Hi!

I would like to ask if there is a chance to add a task that is the same for each day (or most of the days) at once and not daily?

Thank you for the answer, :-)

Hi Katja,

Can you please clarify what you mean. As you can enter a date as "everyday" and the task is every day. You can enter "every weekday" which would be every day except the weekends.

Regards,
Brendon.

Hi Brendon,

wooow, that was fast :) Thank you very much!
I'm new user, so I didn't even know I can write "every day" .... as a date for tasks. :) Thanks. So if I understood here https://firefox.todoist.com/Help/DatesTimes right, the task I put as everyday will be postponed each day on the next one althought I will marked it as done? Because for now it is not visible yet in the calender.

Kind Regards,
Katja

Katja,

It will only show on the current occurrence. So it would show today only, until it's completed, then show up on the next day. If you are actually postponing it, yes it will move to tomorrow when doing that.

Brendon.

The task of "everyday" I click as completed and the next day does not show up. Why?

Hi,

You sure the due date is "everyday" and you completed it. So you are on the next 7 days view, and its not on tomorrow?

Brendon

Hi Brendon,

Thank you very much!

"So you are on the next 7 days view"
I would like more than 7 days. All year. How to do it?

Hi,

Just type "30 days" or "100 days" into the search box, or create a filter for that in the left hand menu.

Brendon
