Hows do i enter a recurring task to pay bank loan every second Tuesday starting 6th May.Every time I enter the above it says invalid date
Hi,So did you enter "every second tuesday starting may 6" into the date box and its invalid? As I am not able to reproduce this.Regards,Brendon.
yes although a previous question was of a similar nature and your resonse was i should put a recurring task for the 6th and 20th as the system cannot handle fortnightly recurring
Hi,So entering exactly what I wrote above gives an error message? As I am able to enter that without issue. Which platform are you using?Regards,Brendon
gmail on Mac I then tried a new task for 20th may recurring evedry month and it still comes up as invalid.I am a covert from Nozbe and questioning this decision as this was simple in Nozbe
Hi,If you enter "everyday" does it work? There is no reason why the above is not working, I can accomplish it on the Mac, in Gmail without issue. To be clear, you are typing exactly as I wrote, so "everyday" and "every second tuesday starting may 6" and no variation on that? Also to clarify, you are typing this into the date box correct? Not within the Reminders menu?Regards,Brendon.
Typed in exactly what you suggested but same result so here is what I typed in"everyday" and "every second tuesday starting may 6"
Hello,The date "every second Tuesday starting May 6" is not correct because May 6th is not the second Tuesday of May.Please either use:every second Tuesday starting May 13because May 13th is the second Tuesday of May or simply just type:every second Tuesdaybecause if you don't add a starting date, Todoist will always make it start on the next available occurrence which in fact will be May 13th.Best regards,David
