Hi,

So did you enter "every second tuesday starting may 6" into the date box and its invalid? As I am not able to reproduce this.

Regards,
Brendon.

yes although a previous question was of a similar nature and your resonse was i should put a recurring task for the 6th and 20th as the system cannot handle fortnightly recurring

Hi,

So entering exactly what I wrote above gives an error message? As I am able to enter that without issue. Which platform are you using?

Brendon

Hi,

If you enter "everyday" does it work? There is no reason why the above is not working, I can accomplish it on the Mac, in Gmail without issue.

To be clear, you are typing exactly as I wrote, so "everyday" and "every second tuesday starting may 6" and no variation on that?

Also to clarify, you are typing this into the date box correct? Not within the Reminders menu?

Regards,
Brendon.

Hello,

The date "every second Tuesday starting May 6" is not correct because May 6th is not the second Tuesday of May.

Please either use:

every second Tuesday starting May 13

because May 13th is the second Tuesday of May or simply just type:

every second Tuesday

because if you don't add a starting date, Todoist will always make it start on the next available occurrence which in fact will be May 13th.

Best regards,
David
