Wrong language set

DW

Hi all

Just installed the outlook add-in on my German W7 (w/ Office 2010) installation. The add-in however is in English. My Todist language settings are set to German.

How can I get the add-in to be changed to German as well?

Hi Daniel,

Can you please verify if the setting of the Plugin in Outlook is in German also? You can check it the same way you would in the web app, by using the GEAR ICON -> TODOIST SETTING -> GENERAL -> Language.

Regards,

Clyde

Hi Clyde

When following your instructions, it opens a browser window and there the language is set to German. However to me this seems as a general language setting and not dedicated to the Oulook add-in.

All my other clients (mac os x, iPhone) are set to German.

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Please try the step below and let me know how it goes:

1.) Log out and you should see a gray "English" link below the login fields on the login page.
2.) Click on it to select your language an from now on Outlook Todoist will use this language.

Regards,

Clyde

I followed the instructions but they didn't work. When I logged out, I changed the language as you suggested. The login screen then changed to German but after logging in, all was back to English

Hello Daniel,

There are only two ways of changing the language - through the Todoist Settings or through the link on the login page. There is no other way. Please try to set the language again and also make sure that when you access Todoist through a browser you don't use a bookmark pointing to en.todoist.com

Also, you could try to log out, close Outlook, reopen Outlook, change the language on the login screen, reload Outlook again and then log in.

It's a known issue and so far in 100% of the cases reported, selecting the language on the login screen successfully changed the language of the app in Outlook. We're unsure why this time (for the first time) it didn't work. Let us know if reloading Outlook and retrying it helps.

Best regards,
David
