Completed tasks still visible.

JD

In Todoist on my Mac, there are some projects in which completed tasks disappear but there is also a project in which the completed tasks (both parent and sub tasks ) do not disappear. I'm not sure if I've clicked the option 'show completed tasks'. If so, is there a way of undoing it?

Hi Jason,

To show completed tasks, you can click on the icon (the one that resembles a clock with the counter-clockwise arrow) on the lower right corner of the last task of every project. This shows you the completed tasks for that project. So if you have clicked that, then it's normal to see completed tasks.

There's no way to undo it but if click on a different project and go back to it, those completed tasks shouldn't show anymore unless you click the same icon again.

Can you possibly send a screenshot of the said tasks? I want to verify if this might be an actual issue. You can send it to me at clyde@doist.io.

Regards,

Clyde

Hi Clyde - have sent a screenshot to your email address. It's only of one Project and one completed task but I have tried clicking away from this project and from other projects and the problem remains: the completed tasks remain visible.

Looking forward to your response.

Jason

Hi Jason,

Thank you for sending me your screenshot. Please note that completed sub-tasks will always show up as tasks that are greyed out with a strikethrough in it.

Only main tasks (level 1 tasks) will disappear from the list along with the sub-tasks attached to it.
