Outlook Task Assignments Disappearing

MR

I'm having an issue in Outlook where I assign a task and the person's icon shows up for a second and then disappears. I cleared my internet browser cache history and logged out and relogged in. Now there are no people to which I can assign tasks. I have reinvited them and now I'm waiting.

Hi Mike,

So this is a shared project, and only happens when you try to assign a task? The issue is only within the Outlook plugin?

Brendon.

I just noticed it happens on my iPhone as well. Yes, it is a project that I'm sharing with multiple people. Another strange thing is that I can assign tasks to certain people and it stays. For others, the assigned person disappears after a second.

Mike,

Do the people who disappear, do they have Todoist accounts? If they don't, they will get an email, and need to create an account, before they will actually show attached.

Though, I am having trouble reproducing this. If you create a new project, and share, does this occur as well?

Regards,
Brendon.

I created a sample job and I don’t appear to be having the problem. Doesn’t everyone have to be registered before they can accept tasks?

Mike,

Yes they need to register, but an email asking them to will be sent. The project that was not working, when was this created, if it's old enough, we did make some changes to fix issues, and re-creating was needed of these projects.

Brendon.

Hi, Mike,
I am also having the same issue. Appears to only be with the Outlook plugin, not the Windows desktop. The assigned individual is registered but in Outlook plugin, it is there and then gone. Related, the filter for All Tasks for today/overdue doesn't pull in everything assigned - might be related.
