Hi Sven,

Do you have the preview pane option enabled? Any chrome extension relating to gmail?

Hello Sven,

If you're viewing gmail on your iPad, you wouldn't see the "TD Add" button. This works only if you're using Chrome as your browser (in a desktop or laptop) and have the gmail Chrome extension installed. Refer to this link for more details http://todoist.com/gmail

Chrome extensions are add-ins that you can install to extend the browsers functionality. Sometimes, installed extensions in the browser can affect Todoist's functionality so that's why I asked.

As for the preview pane, it's an experimental option in gmail that you can enable. Please see this link for more details http://gmailblog.blogspot.com/2011/08/new-in-labs-preview-pane.html

There could be a few reasons for that, depending on how they are built, how they process emails, the language they are built on. We will of course look into finding a solution in the future if possible.

Looking forward to an update that supports the Preview Pane 'Lab' in GMail (the one by by Peter B & Michael K) - took me a while to figure out why I wasn't getting the TD button!

Same here... Just downloaded Todoist and was trying to figure out what I was doing wrong and came across this question on todoist.

Any progress on this?

It would be really nice if we could save ourselves a click every time we wanted to navigate or search for different emails. I think that's what the preview pane was intended for.

Hi Luis,

Sadly, we don't have any updates yet. We'll reply to this thread if we have any news related to it.

The premium membership indicates that the Gmail plugin is functional and included. Is this not the case?

Yes it is, on Firefox and Chrome. Though Preview Pane does need to be disabled.
