Recurring Daily Tasks

GY

I have a daily checklist (74 items) that I want to use... all items need to be available every day, but not all items will be or need to be completed each day.

Examples... Shoes on, Shoes off... I will check only one of these and the other will need to be deleted

1. If tasks are recurring and completed, I understand that the task will be made available for the next day
2.But the items that I don't complete and do not need to be completed for that day, if i delete these tasks, will they still be available for the next day?

Hi Gary,

1. Yes.
2. No they will not be available. Though you can make them recurring, and then just right click, Postpone that task.

Regards,
Brendon.

When you postpone them, aren't these still considered completed and therefore the completion report will show both the tasks that were completed and the tasks that were postpone... I want to be able to see only the tasks that were checked in this report.

How do I accomplish this?

Hello Gary,

No, postponing a task will not consider it completed. That is - it will not show on your "View all completed" list. It will behave as if you would "discard" this occurrence of the task or "mark it as not completed" (though we don't have such option directly - postponing pretty much works this way).

Best regards,
David

I'm looking view completed tasks for yesterday and it includes both completed and postponed tasks... How do I tell which tasks were actually completed?

Yesterday's Tasks
Right Shoe off 9:42pm (This one was postponed)
Right Shoe on 9:42pm (This one was completed)

Gary,

I can't reproduce this issue. I've tried to postpone a few tasks now and none of them show up there.

That said, please clarify how exactly did you postpone the task step-by-step - on what device, what and where did you click?

Best regards,
David

Postponed from iPhone (iOS 7.1)...

View task list
Select task
Select schedule to postpone
Select postpone to icon
or
Select task
Select complete
