Simple Reminder

VS

Hi Support,

Could you please advise, how do I create a simple reminder using Todoist?
I mean, I'd like to create a task "Do smth every day at 9pm" and get sms-reminder every day.
Here is the problem: let's assume I create such task today. At 9pm or so I will get sms-reminder. Then I do not mark this task as done (just forgot or had no time). In this case, tomorrow and later I will not get any reminders anymore until I mark this particular task as done.
What I need is to get sms-reminders every day, no matter whether I mark it as done or not.
Is it possible?

Thanks.

Hello Vladimir,

That's possible :-)

There are 2 types of reminders:

1. Relative - these are set to "30 minutes before deadline", 1 hour before etc., they require the task to have a time and these will not repeat if the task has not been completed.

2. Absolute - these do not require the task to have a time, but you have to set the exact date and time for the reminder itself. If you'll set the reminder to "every day at 9am" then it will recur independently of the task's date based on its own schedule (as you set it).

Best regards,
David
