Hello Rodrigo,

Unfortunately, that's not possible. You can only make one person responsible for one task. However, this person could break it down into sub-tasks and assign each sub-task to someone else to clearly redistribute the responsibilities.

Hi David,

Will this feature be added in the future? I would like to assign a task to myself and to another person.

Thanks

Hello Gjergj,

Right now we're not planning to implement such option. You're welcome to assign a parent task to yourself, a sub-task to the main person responsible for it and then they could create sub-sub-tasks assigning each to the responsible person.

Also, please note that if you assign a task to someone and this person completes it, you will still be notified about it even if you're not assigned.

You can also view tasks you've assigned to others using the :to_others: filter or view all with the :all: filter.

Best regards,
David

Hi David,

Thank you so much for your quick reply! I have one more request: would it be possible to strike the task as completed but the task is still visible by other members so they can see the comments I make on the completed task. That would be very helpful.

Kind regards,
Gjergj

Gjergj,

Technically, this is possible if you use sub-tasks. Every sub-tasks stays on the list until its parent task is completed.

However, even if it's not a sub-task and the task is removed from the list, everyone can still access it along with all your notes by clicking on the circular icon at the bottom which will show completed tasks in this project.

Best regards,
David
