I don't want to see Todoist for Gmail at bottom of the screen

RV

Hi,

I installed the Todoist Chrome extension, and it's working fine. After that, I installed Todoist for Gmail to be possible to add tasks from messages.

However, I only want to use the Chrome extension, there is a way o suppress the Todois for Gmail bar that appears on bottom of screen after I access my Gmail ?

Thanks,
Régis

Hi Regis,

You can do this by removing the Todoist Chrome extension for gmail.

Hi Regis,

Yes, you should still be able to create tasks out from your emails even if you remove it. As you've mentioned, you can do this just by using the Chrome Todoist extension. Try it and let me know if you run into any problems.

Clyde

Hi Regis,

Do you mean the button on the Todoist Chrome extension? Can you please tell me how you were adding tasks in the Todoist Chrome extension while the Todoist for Gmail was still installed.

I don't have Todoist for Gmail installed right now yet I can still add email as tasks in my Todoist Chrome extension.

Clyde

Hi Regis,

No need to apologize at all.

Is this working for you already? Can you now see the "Add email as a task" button in the Todoist Chrome extension?

Clyde

Good morning, My Todoist chrome extension is no longer visible. I have to click a little button to the right of the browser bar to access this and my evernote extensions? It was there yesterday?

Hello John,

We have not made any changes to it on our end. Considering that this also affects other icons, please make sure that you haven't installed a plugin that hides these icons temporarily or used a Chrome settings to do that, though we're not aware of a settings that could cause it.

Best regards,
David
