Shared Task notifications

HM

I have a shared task list with another person. Every time I update any task that I have completed - even on my non-shared projects, I get an iPhone notification that the other person has completed a certain task. It is always the same task, which is a task that repeats weekly. The other person has not marked this task as completed. How can I get it to stop doing this?

Hi Heather,

- Which version of iOS are you running?
- Which version of our app are you running?

To clarify, you mention a notification that someone completed a task, but you mention non shared projects. There was an issue that kept pushing a reminder for a task, even once completed or deleted. This will be fixed in the upcoming release of 8.1.1. Please confirm, if this is the same issue. I believe, even notifications from shared tasks were included in that issue.

For the moment, if you click on the notification area, and clear all of them, does it still continue?

Regards,
Brendon.

Hi Brendon,
I am running version 8.0.2 of the app on iOS 7.1. Within my todoist I have personal projects and shared projects. Right after I add a task to any project or indicate that any task is complete, my iphone sends a push notification that the person I have a shared project with has completed a task. The shared project is household chores with my husband. So anytime I do anything on todoist, my phone sends a push notification that he has cleaned the kitchen counters. It is always this same task. He has not recently done this. It is not a reminder - it is indicating that it had just been completed.
Although I log in and out of todoist on the computer all the time, I just tried logging out of the app and signing back in. This seems to have fixed the problem for now.

Thanks!
Heather

Heather,

That is a bit different than the issues we have been having. So it's only ever that one task that says "its been completed" and nothing else?

Let us know if it happens again.

Regards,
Brendon.
