Notes deleted upon task completion

RL

I have observed that notes are being deleted after I set the task to completed.
It doesn't have to be that way. When notes are saved on a task, it should NOT be deleted upon task completion. Notes are very important to remind myself of the specific task. That's why I bought the premium version.

Anyhow, can you please fix these?

It would also be a great addition if I can search string through all the notes and displays all the tasks with it.

Please, these are very important for me. Thanks!

Hello Rual,

I can't reproduce this issue. I've just completed a couple tasks with notes and the notes are visible and accessible both from the completed list in a project and from the general global "View All Completed" list.

Furthermore, when searching for a work in a completed note, I also see the completed task with this note on the search result list.

That said, please try to log out using the "Logout" option from the TD icon at the top and if this won't help, see if you can reproduce this issue on the web (if so - in what browser?).

Best regards,
David

Ah yes. It is working on google chrome. But not on your Mac App. Please verify.

Ruel,

For Chrome and the Chrome Gmail plugin, please go to Chrome's Advanced Settings -> Content Settings -> All cookies and site data, find and delete any Todoist-related entry, reload the browser and this should fix it.

As for the Mac app - it uses Safari's engine, so please try to log out (via the TD icon at the top) and then clear Chrome's cache.

Best regards,
David

Still to no avail in Mac and Gmail Plugin.

Rual,

That's very unusual considering that the Mac app and the Gmail plugin both use the exact same site - https://todoist.com - they connect to it and show it in a frame, there's no difference between the browser version and these plugins and apps (you can see how the layout changes if you make the browser version smaller).

So, to clarify, you can add a task with a note in Chrome (web-version), you see the same task in Gmail and the Mac app, but when you complete it and go to the completed task list, then the note is there in Chrome, but in Chrome through the Gmail plugin and in the Mac app - it's not?

Or are the notes there and only the search option doesn't find it? Also, does this happen in Safari? The Mac app uses Safari's engine to connect.

Best regards,
David
