Setting date for a range of days

Hello,

I'm a brand new user and I've looked through all the help files and read everything. I am loving this app, so far!

I really like the plain English on setting dates but what I'm wondering is if it's possible to set a task for a range of days like "sometime in the next 7 days". I don't need it done on any particular day but just sometime between today and next Wed. Is this possible? If so, I'm having trouble wording it right.
Thank you!
Viv

Hello Vivianne,

Unfortunately, that's not possible. You could set the due date of the task to the last day on which it should be completed, though. To do it fast, you could type "+7" into the date field which would schedule it for the date 7 days from now.

Alternatively, you could add a label to it. Type @sometime into the task's name and then search for tasks with this label by clicking on it or typing @sometime to the search bar at the top.

Best regards,
David

Thank you, David. :)

Unfortunately I'm using the free version so labels aren't an option. I just went ahead and set it up recurring every day until it gets done and added text to the task that it should be done by the 26th. That will work for now.

I appreciate your help!

Vivianne,

Labels are free :-) That is - adding them through a task, clicking on them and searching for them. With Premium you can additionally color-code them and see the full label list on the left + use labels on mobile.

Best regards,
David

Wait what? They are? :-o
Is there instruction on adding labels through tasks and such? I don't remember seeing anything. I just know when I click "Labels" after the "Projects" tab it tells me labels are a premium feature.
