Adding new task problem

RB

After adding a new task with a date I cannot add another task using either the + or shortcut q without first refreshing the page. If there is no date it works. In both Chrome and Firefox.

Hello Robert,

I can't reproduce this issue. I'm on the "today" view, I use "q" to show Quick Add, add a task with a date "tod", it gets added, the Quick Add box closes, I hit "q" again, open another Quick Add box, and can repeat this process multiple times with no issues.

Please let me know if you can reproduce it following the exact same steps and if not - what exactly are you doing differently?

Also, does clearing the browser's cache help? Do you have any script- or ad-blocking plugins installed?

Best regards,
David

Cleared browser cache, tried it in chrome and a clean install of firefox with no plugins installed. I follow your exact steps and the + or q does not open the add task dialog until i refresh the page.

So my home computer is a mac. I tried it this morning at work on a windows computer in both chrome and firefox. It still does not work. Is there something wrong with my account or do i have an incorrect setting?

Robert,

As I've mentioned in another reply - please try to create a new account to check it. This and the other issue with the Inbox (which we can't reproduce) could suggest an account-based issue.

Did you at any time (especially right after we've introduced Todoist Next) delete your account and created a new one with the same email address?

Best regards,
David
