Filtering for weekdays

EP

I am using Todoist for work and for home. On the work side, I like to look ahead to the next three weekdays or so. I can filter for this by entering '3 days' but this will show weekend days, which I don't typically want to see. I can also enter something like 'Fri, Mon, Tue', but this has to be changed every day. It would be a nice shortcut to filter by entering something like '3 weekdays' the same as you can enter '3 days'. Filtering by 'ev weekday' shows only the current weekday (I haven't tried this on a weekend, so I don't know what it would show then). Based on other questions here, I think the functionality I'm looking for would require a 'weekdays' keyword, which does not seem to be available. Is this correct? Are there plans to implement a 'weekdays' keyword? Or, am I missing something and there is already a keyword available that will show X weekdays only?

Thanks!

Hello Edward,

Thank you for your feedback. That's indeed not possible right now, but we'll consider implementing such option/keyword in the future.

Hi Simon,

The specific filter you're looking for is not available. As a workaround, I suggest you create and save a custom filter and use this query "mo,tu,we,th,fr,sa,next mo, next tu, next we, next th, next fr, next sa, next su". You can just copy and paste so you don't have to retype it. The next time you need this filter, you can just click on the saved filter.

As mentioned by David, you're welcome to request that specific filter in our Votebox: https://todoist.com/Vote/

Best Regards,

Clyde
