Hello Michael,Please tell me - was this an HTML email, did it contain a signature and if so - did it contain anything else aside from the signature? If it contain an attachment, how long did you wait for it to show up (it could take a minute if the attachment was big)? Please forward the email you're referring to (you can of course remove any sensitive data, we just need to see the basic structure and formatting of this message) to email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.orgBest regards,David
Michael,Please forward this email to email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org we need to see the email itself as in most cases it's not an issue with the text, but with the way it's formatted, what properties does the message have etc.Best regards,David
Michael,Your earlier message is removed from this thread. Thank you for this email, though I can't reproduce this issue :-( I've forwarded it to my projects and it arrived with the entire body intact as a task note. That said, just to clarify - have you tried forwarding it to a different project or just one (to make sure it's not an issue specifically with an email address of one project)?Best regards,David
Tried sending to a different project with the same result. Too much time trying to use Todoist, not enough time working.... Sorry.
Michael,We're sorry to hear that :-( We'll continue trying to reproduce this issue and fix it as soon as we identify its cause.Best regards,David
I have exactly the same issue with HTML emails. Body does not show up in note.
Hello Andreas,We're looking into this as we're switching to another mail handling system and we'll try to make it work in as many cases as possible.Best regards,David
Has this been resolved? I forward an email and only my signature is captured by todoist. The rest of the email chain does not show up anywhere. This is kind of a deal breaker for email to tasks, is it not?
That's when sending via plain text. Apparently sending as HTML works?
it works for me from outlook. It does not work for me from iOS if I have the "add level of indentation when forwarding or replying" switch enabled in mail settings. After turning that off, it also works for me from Mail for iOS.
That was it! My settings were different between HTML and Plain Text for the indentation. Thanks a ton!
