Completed Tasks not Showing

J

When I, or someone else completes a task it just disappears. I get email notification that it is complete but when I click not the link I get the main dashboard, no completed task. This is in Safari but same behavior in the iPad app as well (just installed today). I have a screen shot if you would like to see it.

Is seeing completed tasks REALLY only available in premium. I don't feel I can even complete a successful "test drive" without this feature.

Hi Jon,

Within each project at the very bottom of the task list, there is a circular clock icon, this will grab completed tasks. There is also a X Completed link at the top right as well.

Regards,
Brendon.

Hi Brendon,

No, X and no clock icon on iPad Safari or the iPad app. I have had someone else look at it as well to confirm that I am not crazy or missing something. Can send you a screen shot if you like. Is viewing completed tasks a premium feature or are both of us here missing it.

Hello Jon,

Unfortunately, our iOS apps don't have the option to view completed tasks yet, but we'll add it in future updates.

That said, on the web, you can view completed tasks on a free account as Brendon mentioned. That is - enter the project in which the task was completed (on the web) and then click on the circular icon at the bottom of the task list in this project to load all tasks complete in it.

There is another way of viewing all completed tasks from all projects at once, see when they were completed exactly, filter them by project or label and this option in available (on the web) by clicking on the Karma score at the top and then going to "View All Completed".

If your account was created recently, then within a few days, you'll get an email inviting you to a free 30-day Premium trial where you can check out how the second option works :-)

Best regard,
David

I've shared my tasks with my collabrators. I've created a project and many tasks, if any of my collatebrators complete any task, I'm not getting any notification.

Hello Venu,

Please tell me:
- Are you the person who has assigned these tasks to them?
- Do you have all options checked off in Settings -> Notifications (on the web)?

Best regards,
David

Hi David,

Here's what I've done.

Created a project with 22 different tasks. Shared this project with 5 collaborators each one having the ability to complete any of the 22 tasks. The interval set for the tasks is 'every day'.

Now if one of the collaborators completes his task, I am not able to view it in the completed tasks under the Productivity trend option. However I'm able to see it under notifications.

I'd like to believe that I'm the admin of the projects I've created and would want the collaborators to only be able to complete tasks. Currently my collaborators can change the schedules as well. Please advice

Venu,

The productivity trend only shows your productivity and your completed tasks. You can view tasks moved to history at the bottom of each project (using the circle in the bottom-right corner).

All collaborators can make any changes the want within the shared projects. We may consider changing this in the future.

Best regards,
David
