Searching for tasks assigned to a particular person

S

Hi Todoist team,

We would really need a feature where I can search the tasks assigned to a specific person which is not possible today through a filter. I understand that I can label a task using particular person name and search using label. But, giving label is redundant as I am already assigning task to that person. Lack of this feature is troubling us considerably as we have a team of 15 who is using this feature

Thanks,
Shailesh

Hi Praveen,

Sadly, we don't have any ETA for it but I suggest you follow our Twitter account for any announcement regarding new Todoist features.

Thanks Clyde,

Is there any method we can use in the mean time to see tasks that have been
assigned to a particular person?

Hi Praveen,

You can use labels for now in conjunction with assigning tasks to specific users. For example, you can have the following labels:

@assigned_to_david
@assigned_to_clyde
@assigned_to_praveen

You can then filter specific labels to show the task that you're looking for. I understand that this is not ideal but it should work for the meantime. We'll look into improving this in the future.

Clyde
