Sort behavour has changed/broke.

LM

Hello,

Beginning today I'm unable to sort my "today" and "Next & Days" folders by priority. This is something that I've alway been able to do in the past. I am able to sort by priority in the "Inbox".

I've tried manually sorting by pressing 'p' but nothing happens.

Am I doing something wrong or is there an issue with todoist here.

Thanks in advance.
Louis

Hi Louis,

The Today & Next 7 Days view are automatically sorted by priority and date, this has always been the case. You could re-arrange the list as you wanted in the past, but now you can only sort within certain areas (p1 tasks with p1 tasks etc).

Inbox is just another project, you can sort your projects by using P.

Regards,
Brendon.

Hi Brenon,

Having the Today & Next 7 Days view automatically sort by priority and date is just want I want, and it's what its always done for me. But it's no longer doing that. I hit 'p' and nothing happens.

thanks in advance
Louis

Also I've cleared my cache and tried this with both the chrome app and going directly to the website. This issue persists.

It seems that when I change an items priority that item go to the top of the list.

* I have priority 1, 2, 3 and 4 items which I manually sort priority 1 and the top.
* I change a p3 item to p4.
* Todoist puts that item at the top of the list.
* I changed a p3 item to p 2 and todoist put that at the top of the list.

Again this is only for Today & Next 7 Days.

Hello Louis,

Thank you for clarifying, I've been able to reproduce the issue with tasks moving to the top when you change their priority, we'll look into it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Best regards,
David
