Hi Kees,

Open Postbox, head to Tools, Addons, top corner click the Gear Icon, Install Addon From File, locate the downloaded XPI file. OK.

Regards,
Brendon.

Where is this XPI file? Have downloaded the App for Postbox, and the Zip file contains an install.rdf file and file & folder named chrome. Is the link broken, and pointing to the wrong file?

Ian,

You have downloaded from our website? http://todoist.com/postbox As I just downloaded from there and it's just an XPI file.

Regards,
Brendon.

Thank you, mystery solved. I was using Internet Explorer to try to download the App, without success. Your question prompted me to try Firefox, and the App has downloaded & installed without any problem.

Thanks again

Hello Sam,

Please clarify - how can you not get it to work exactly? Do you have issues with the installation, with accessing the plugin, with using it, do you see error messages, can you not log in?

Best regards,
David

Sam,

To install the plugin, you only need to get the XPI file from http://todoist.com/postbox and then go to Potbox's Add-ons section and use the gear icon in the top-right corner where you'll find the "Install Add-on from file" option - then select the downloaded XPI file and that will install the plugin.

Please let us know exactly at what point does it not work - the file doesn't download? You can't select it from this menu? You can, but it won't install?

Best regards,
David

Sam,

Are you sure it downloaded to the Download folder? Try to search for "Todoist_for_Postbox" on your computer (in all folders) as that's the file name, unless you've renamed it upon downloading.

Best regards,
David

Sam,

We do not have a specific area for Postbox help at this time. Though we hope to improve our help pages in the future.

Brendon.
