Outlook add in

P

I am using Outlook 2003. I am getting the error msg below after the install of the Outlook add in.
I've just uninstalled and then reinstalled your app but I'm still getting the same msg every time I am performing any action in Outlook (selesting an email, opening up an email...).
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello Pierre,

Unfortunately, our plugin doesn't support Outlook 2003, you need Outlook 2007 or later to use the plugin :-(

Best regards,
David

Just FYI - Since I installed/uninstalled the Todoist plugin I am facing serious issues with Outlook now...
May I suggest that you guys clearly specify on your website that your plugin is only for Outlook 2007 or later.
I guess many people are still using the 2003 version of Outlook - whatever the reasons may be...
Thanks!

Pierre,

Please let us know what issues are you experiencing. Did you uninstall it through Programs & Features (it's listed as OutlookTodoist there) or did you try to delete the installed files manually?

Best regards,
David

I think I am understanding. I upgraded to Premium only way to see the option which is a bit unfair I think. Anyway, the tutorial video for preferences is not correct. I am using Outlook
2007 I can't see an option to update via internet. Outlook is looking for ics file.

Hi Chris,

I have attached a screenshot that shows you where to paste the iCal URL feed. Let me know if you can't still integrate Todoist with Outlook.

Clyde

Hi Chris,

Are you behind a VPN or a proxy? Do you have any anti-virus software installed? If you do, please add todoist.com and cloudfront.net as websites to exempt.

Also, please try clearing the cache of the Outlook add-in to see if that helps. You can clear cache from this directory: %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Todoist\Outlook\Cache

Clyde

Hi Chris,

Can you please confirm if you're behind a VPN or proxy connection? It's possible that might what's causing this for you.

As for Norton 360, please click on Settings → AntiVirus Settings, and there you will be able to find the exclusion settings

Could it be because I am using AMD and not Intel chips

Hello Chris,

We did indeed got reports of such issue from users who have an AMD GPU and also Intel Graphics and it started to work for them when they've disabled the AMD GPU. We're looking into this issue and hope we'll be able to address it in the future. Sorry for the inconvenience.

David
