Reminder icon not added after using reminder notation example: <remind tod at 8am>

SB

Hi

When I add a reminder using the notation/syntax of <remind tom at 4pm> and save the task, it does not automatically add the little clock that shows that you entered a reminder.

It is confusing if you are busy you think the reminder was not saved properly, the visual confirmation is not there so you get confused.

It appears if you reload the project or the 'folder' where tasks are (example: inbox)

Hi Sergio,

It appears to show within 1-2 seconds if not quicker. Are you saying it's longer then this? Which browser are you using?

Brendon.

I have the same problem. I am using Chrome but also have the same problem using the Windows App and the iPhone App. I subscribed to Premium about 2 weeks ago and this feature has never worked for me..

More accurately, my problem is broader than described above. I never get a reminder set for any task to which I have assigned a time or due date. This feature of Premium does not appear to be working at all.

Greg,

What are the syntax's you are using to create your task? Are you entering it within the date box, or within the Reminderrs menu?

Regards,
Brendon.

Hi Brendon,

My typical entry is "Test Task" in the main box and "tod at 11am" in the date box

Greg,

I can't seem to reproduce this issue. So it's all tasks that you try to add a date/reminder too?

Please try logging out, clearing the cache for your browser and trying again.

Regards,
Brendon.

Can you log into my account and see if it works correctly for you?

Hi Brandon,

I worked out the problem.

Sometimes I have been typing "Tom 4pm" which Todoist accepts as opposed to flagging as an invalid entry. However, this does not create the reminder.

If I enter ""Tom at 4pm" the reminder is correctly created.

Thus I recommend either: 1. having Todoist flag "Tom 4pm" as an invalid entry" or 2. allowing users to create a reminder by omitting the "at".

Hi Brendon
Im using Firefox 27.0.1
It does appear immediately nor after waiting.

I am using the following syntax <remind tod at 8am>
if I click out to another task, click back to 'edit' the task and click out again it shows.
Or if I refresh the page.

Currently I have no extensions installed on firefox.
Tried it on Chrome Version 31.0.1650.57 m.. no dice
Tried it on IE 8.. not working

Hello Sergio,

Thank you for your report, I can reproduce this issue (the task is added with no clock icon and the icon appears only after I close the new task input field) and have passed it to the developers. We'll look into it.

Best regards,
David
