Hello Charles,

Unfortunately, this is beyond our control. To make our plugin work, it needs to see the correct URL with the unique ID of the selected/opened message so it can link to it and also show you the "TD Add" button if it notices that you're reading a message.

Unfortunately, the Preview Pane modifies the URL to the point where our plugin can't see if and what message do you have opened. We hope the authors of this extension will change it so that it won't affect the URL, please contact them about it.

Best regards,
David

If you click the 'New Window' arrow icon at the top right of the Preview Pane view it will open that email full window and the Todoist ADD icon is their to add to your tasks (see attached). Extra step but I like the preview as well so this is the work around. My issue that once I send to Todoist and click on it in my list it triggers Gmail to open in the browser (like when I use the Outlook plugin) but browser windows stays empty, it does not show the email contents (see attached)?

Allen,

Even though that is possible we have still seen it break this link, either it not working at all or not loading properly. Preview Pane is simply not supported at this time, we wish it could be.

Brendon

So are you saying that since I sent the task to Todoist via this process is why its not working for when I click the link in Todoist?

Yeap, that was the problem, with Preview Disabled it worked. That sucks! Guess I have to stick with my ITTT if Starred Email send to Todoist as a task, but that doesn't get me to the actual email link either. Needs to work more like the Outlook Pluging, if checked in Gmail you should be able to send to Todoist. I mean who doesn't use Preview!
