New Windows Version Problem

On starting TD this morning, I received a message that a new Windows version was available for download and installation.

I did this and now I just get a blank screen, no data.

I am using the Chrome Web version to send this advice.

Was the new version message genuine?

With Windows version so far (I am using Windows 8.1) the app only loads the first time in the day, no response later on unless I restart my notebook.

Hello Roger,

Yes, the update was genuine.

Please try to right-click on the TD icon the app puts to the notification area (system tray), use the Logout option from there and see if the issue persists after logging back in.

Reg the app loading only the first time - please tell me, when you close it, does it actually still run on the system tray (as by default)? If so, you can bring it back by double-clicking on this icon or using Ctrl+Alt+A as it won't let you launch it twice while it's already running.

Thanks, David, set it up in the System Tray, seems to be working.

What are the additional features in this update?

There are no new features in this update. It fixed a few glitches and bugs.
